Coaching - How it Works
As a Coach Tom’s role is simply to listen to and question his clients, taking a non-directive role. This means he doesn’t give advice but using a range of tools that aim to aid the client to come to their own conlusions.
“Coaching is a collaborative, non-directive conversation that brings about change through inquiry, reflection, choice and new behaviours.”
In this way, a Coach is very different to a Physcologist, Counsellor or Teacher.
Tom specialilses in working with young people aged 12-25.
He brings his varied background to assist his clients make sense of all the choices and distractions in their lives. Finding clarity amongst the daily chaos is the challenge of our lifetime and Tom excells in giving his clients the space to pragmatiicaly explore what is really going on, being kind to ourselves and then getting on with it.
